 | The last Lunar Cycle was so intense with that full powered Scorpio Full Moon! And now we are moving into the Gemini New Moon/Sagittarius Full Moon Lunar Axis! This is a much more playful, adventurous axis with a strong focus on the quest for greater knowledge and meaning. The Sun is just entering into Gemini - happy Birthday Sun in Gemini people!!! - the North Node has just entered into Gemini, Venus is going through her complex Retrograde. kicks off this Lunar Month in Gemini!!!!! SO MUCH GEMINI!!!
Gemini rules communication - all forms. This includes online so we will probably see an increase in online support, workshops, connections, groups, education... all of it! This month it will be strong and we will potentially find ourselves networking with each other more across the world.
However, Venus is going through her underworld journey through Gemini. Venus rules what is beautiful about being human such as love, fertility, money and all abundance. This may add an interesting reassessment of the way we work with this information especially the quality of information we are sharing and connecting with as well as the way our networks are being established.
Also, the Full Moon is happening in Sagittarius and this is a very mild Lunar Eclipse so we won't feel this one as strong...hopefully. But whenever the Moon is full, this always means that the Sun is in the opposite sign which is... GEMINI! So we will be inundated with Gemini all month!
Gemini has a super playful side and is also one for going beyond the rules. Gemini is the trickster and the court jester and the travelling minstrels and bards of older times.
At a deeper spiritual level, Gemini symbolised by the twins, wants to take us beyond duality. I am always reminded of this Rumi Poem:
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other”
doesn’t make any sense.
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.

You must ask for what you really want.

where the two worlds touch.

This poem feels so Gemini to me. This poem is an invitation out beyond duality, to go against the regular rhythm, to go on an adventure and not go back to sleep, very Gemini/Sagittarius Axis!
Another deeper level to Gemini is that he is the sacred messenger of the Gods. This may be a lunar cycle for us to tune into some amazing messages that support us along our paths.

This New Moon in Gemini is going to be an opportunity to look deep within and work with the sacred messenger. This lunation is trine Saturn which is going to give us some solid support to really ground in some positive stabilising energy. This may support us to navigate and sift through the overwhelming amounts of new information and networks we are accessing through the big shift to more online.
(ii) VENUS CONJUNCT THE SUN - JUNE 3rd
This is the day that connects with the point in Inanna's journey where Venus is deep in the underworld and is at the lowest point of the journey. This is a day where we won't have the positive beams of Venus shining upon us!
(iii) FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS - LUNAR ECLIPSE - JUNE 5th/6th
Sagittarius loves adventure and quests. This is an Eclipse but not very strong as it won't really be noticeable but we will feel it on some level. Sagittarius is on the quest for higher knowledge. This Full Moon may heighten some intensity regarding what is truth in the collective. This is potent moment to tune into what is your personal truth and investigate how deep this runs and how valid it really is.
:: There is of course so much more going on this lunar month which I am weaving into Rituals for people participating in <<<The Lunar Project >>> With so much information flying around and with Venus going retrograde it may be hard to connect with really good quality info. I strongly suggest not getting too serious about things this month. Let's really watch what is going to play out.
Gemini can be the trickster and there is the potential for some information twisting and distorting, but I really feel that the truth always has a way of coming out. The truth eventually rises to the surface which is Sagittarius' domain and this may be what comes up at the Full Moon.
Let's keep open and learning and trying to understand what is really going on and not forget that this is a massive year with continual transformation and restructuring of power dynamics. It is a monumental metamorphosis for all of humanity so it was always going to take time for this process to play out.
This month does have a lightness to it too and we can be a bit lighter without losing sight of the bigger picture and deeper social transformation at play. especially at this Gemini New Moon.
And if it is too much Gemini for you, then please just put your feet on the Earth or if you can, lay on the Earth and ground yourself. Or simply be more mindful of your online time... I know we hear this all the time, but this month is a really powerful time to watch this!
