The Astrology of July - Wisdom Agency & a New Collective Story
Hi everyone,
I've just finished recording my latest astrology reflection, and I have to say, this is a moment I've been looking forward to for a very long time.
When I was writing my 2026 Astrology Forecast late last year, July was one of the periods that stood out most clearly. I knew it contained two of the six major initiation points I spoke about, and I've been looking forward to this moment ever since. Over the past few weeks I've found myself returning to this astrology again and again, and the more I've sat with it, the more I feel this is one of the most significant months of the year.
In this reflection, I explore three themes that appear to be activated strongly in July:
Our relationship with agency and conscious participation.
Jupiter's extraordinary relationship with the outer planets, and why I've come to think of Jupiter as the teacher of coherence.
The beginning of a new collective story as we approach the nodal shift into Leo and Aquarius.

A Simple New Moon Ritual
This reflection is arriving just before the Cancer New Moon on 13 or 14 July, depending on where you are in the world and coincides with Mercury retrograde in Cancer. This moment is inviting you to reflect.
If you feel called, perhaps set aside a little time around the New Moon. Light a candle, sit somewhere quiet and allow yourself a few moments to reflect before writing down your intentions for this next chapter.
As you do, you might like to ask yourself:
What is truly nourishing me?
What am I ready to carry forward?
What am I ready to leave behind?
How do I want to participate in this next chapter?
Over recent months, I find myself returning again and again to the same question:
How do we meet life when there are forces at play that are beyond our control?
This question continues to shape not only the way I understand astrology, but also why practice has become such an important part of my own life.
